Novell Announces Executive Departure

Novell today announced that Richard Seibt has resigned his position as president of Novell® EMEA. Mr. Seibt was formerly president of SUSE Linux, Inc., acquired by Novell in January, 2004.

Jack Messman, chairman and CEO of Novell, said, "I would like to thank Richard for his contributions to Novell, especially in the transition and integration of the SUSE® LINUX business. We wish him well in his future endeavors."

Mr. Seibt's duties will be assumed by Ron Hovsepian, president, Worldwide Field Operations.
