31 May 2017

Micro Focus (LSE: MCRO.L), a global enterprise software company helping customers innovate faster with lower risk announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Tracey Mead, VP North America Channels & Global System Integrators to its list of 2017 Power 100, an elite subset of its prestigious annual Women of the Channel list.

CRN’s editorial team selects Women of the Channel honorees based on their professional accomplishments, demonstrated expertise and ongoing dedication to the channel. The Power 100 belong to an exclusive group drawn from this larger list: women leaders whose vision and influence are key drivers of their companies’ success and help move the entire IT channel forward.

Tracey has devoted over 20 years to the channel beginning her IT career as an inside sales representative for a national distributor and now currently serving in a senior leadership position for Micro Focus. Over the years, Tracey has successfully navigated several sales and management roles with various hardware and software manufacturers' including Toshiba, CA , Novell, The Attachmate Group and Micro Focus. Tracey has expertly managed many routes to market including distribution, VAR, DMR, System Integrator and MSP's - focusing on results, while utilizing her broad background of management, sales, operations, and marketing to build and grow high-performing channel programs and teams. This is exemplified through her receipt of multiple Presidents Club awards for quota attainment as well as company awards for excellence in teamwork and leadership.

“These extraordinary executives support every aspect of the channel ecosystem, from technical innovation to marketing to business development, working tirelessly to keep the channel moving into the future,” said Robert Faletra, CEO of The Channel Company. “They are creating and elevating channel partner programs, developing fresh go-to-market strategies, strengthening the channel’s network of partnerships and building creative new IT solutions, among many other contributions. We congratulate all the 2017 Women of the Channel on their stellar accomplishments and look forward to their future success.”

"Micro Focus is thrilled that Tracey’s accomplishments and hard work have been recognized by CRN as a Women of the Channel honoree, and congratulate her for this outstanding achievement," said Micro Focus President, North America Ron Milton. "The channel is, and will continue to be, an integral piece of Micro Focus's business, and Tracey’s work has been highly influential to Micro Focus’s partner relationships and growth."
