As Director of Product Management, Scot is responsible for the strategy and roadmap of all Micro Focus COBOL solutions. A member of the Micro Focus team for over 20 years, Scot’s priority is to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our users both today and into the future.
Guy is part of the COBOL and Mainframe Solutions product management team. He has for Micro Focus for 12 years and has a rich background in software development—both legacy and modern. His focus is on helping customers to leverage advanced application knowledge and intelligence tools and capabilities as part of their SDLC, and when planning and executing various modernization activities.
Eddie is an IT professional with over 30 years’ experience in the mainframe market—17 of those within Micro Focus. Focused on our enterprise and ADLM solutions, Eddie is responsible for setting the strategy and roadmap within our mainframe solutions portfolio of products.
Graham has 40 years of IBM Mainframe systems and operational support experience. Prior to joining Micro Focus he worked as a consultant for a number of specialist mainframe support organisations providing installation, configuration, capacity planning, and problem resolutions services to UK customers. He worked for the UK’s largest System z business partner configuring mainframe solutions. Graham’s focus is ensuring that our rehost solutions deliver the operational reliability, availability, and serviceability required to support 24x365 customer services.
Darren leads the Eclipse IDE development group within the Application Modernisation & Connectivity division of Micro Focus. With over 26 years’ experience, Darren has extensive experience in both our COBOL and enterprise solutions.
During his 25+ years in the IT industry, Phill has taken on support, development, and migration roles—and for the last eight years these three areas have come together in his role as support manager at Micro Focus. Looking after customers in the UK, Nordics, Netherlands, and Iberia, Phill uses his experience to help our customers be successful with their use of Micro Focus products.
David has worked with mainframe and COBOL solutions for most of his career. He leads the support teams covering Germany, Italy, and French-speaking territories. Being part of Micro Focus for more than eight years, David’s passion is customer success and helping users achieve full value of their investment.
Barbara Ballard has over 23 years of experience with Micro Focus and plays a vital role in the company's product group. As a Senior Product Manager focused on host access security and zero-footprint access solutions, Barbara works closely with customers worldwide to determine their unique host access needs. In doing so, Barbara is able to offer practical, integrated business solutions to help customers bring their mainframes and other backend hosts into modern security and access environments.
Donovan Deakin is a Senior Product Manager in the Micro Focus Application Modernization and Connectivity group, focusing on Host Connectivity solutions. He drives product roadmaps, releases, and product lifecycles, working with customers to deliver customer-centric innovation. Donovan has focused his career on helping customers solve business problems, working on enterprise and cloud solutions for companies including Microsoft and WRQ. Donovan is a graduate of the University of Maine and works out of Micro Focus’ Seattle office.
Dorian Hugues, based in France, is a Senior Product Manager for Rumba and strategic projects in our Host Connectivity portfolio. With more than 15 years of experience in solutions consulting and product management roles, Dorian’s expertise includes zero-footprint terminal emulation and application modernization.
Kris Lall is a Senior Product Manager for Micro Focus and has more than 30 years of experience in technical support, systems engineering, and product management. He has had product management responsibilities for popular enterprise software brands including Extra!, Reflection, and InfoConnect.
Sam is a Product Director for Micro Focus, with a focus on the company’s Host Connectivity solutions. Sam has 23 years of experience in the host connectivity industry having served in technical, sales, and marketing roles including technical support, sales systems engineering, product management, and product marketing.
Paula started working at Micro Focus 27 years ago as a graduate systems programmer. Since then, Paula has worked on various Micro Focus products and technologies including Workbench, Net Express, Mainframe Express, and now Visual COBOL and Enterprise Developer.
Chris is part of the COBOL and Mainframe Solutions Customer Support team. He has been at Micro Focus for 24 of his 35 years in the COBOL development tools industry holding positions in development, management and product support. His focus is on utilizing his expertise to provide high quality customer support for products such as Net Express, Server Express, Visual COBOL and Enterprise Developer.
Dina has been with Micro Focus for over 10 years and has spent the entirety of her time within the Customer Support organization performing various roles. Today, Dina leads the Support Team in the Americas for the Micro Focus Application Modernization and Connectivity products. Dina’s focus is on the customer experience and helping our customers extract the maximum value from Micro Focus products.
