James M. Rittinger is the Chief Legal Officer, Corporate Secretary and a Director of Micro Focus Government Solutions. Mr. Rittinger came to MFGS from Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he was a Vice President and Associate General Counsel responsible for managing the Legal and Contracts teams that supported HP/HPE’s US Public Sector Business.
Prior to joining HP, Mr. Rittinger was the Legal Director, Vice President and Secretary for Dell Federal and the General Counsel and Secretary for Perot Systems Government Services prior to its acquisition by Dell. In addition, prior to joining Perot Systems, Mr. Rittinger was a litigator in the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Charles L. Brieant, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, and the Honorable Mary Ellen Coster Williams of the United States Court of Federal Claims.
Mr. Rittinger lives in Arlington, Virginia with his wife and three children. He is admitted to the bars of New York, Washington DC, and Virginia.
Teddra Thomas Burgess is Vice President, US Federal Sales, at Micro Focus Government Solutions. She is responsible for the overall growth and success of the federal business including go-to-market strategy and execution.
Ms. Burgess has nearly 20 years of experience in the technology industry. She is a seasoned, innovative producer with broad-based expertise in sales, business development, strategic partnerships, and sales operations. She joined Hewlett Packard in 2008 and has since served as Director of Strategic Alliances in Public Sector, driving business through that channel—a role for which she earned industry recognition in CRN annually from 2011-2014. Additionally, she held a dual role as Chief Operating Officer of HP Software Public Sector Sales for over 3 years. In 2015, Ms. Burgess took on the role of Director of Sales for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. This role expanded to include US Civilian & System Integrator Sales in 2016.
Prior to HP, Ms. Burgess was the Director of Federal Sales at SAI Global, establishing solid expertise in compliance and risk management. She also spent 9 years in successively more responsible positions with CA Technologies, including Area Director of Education Sales, Client Relationship Manager, Inside Sales and Business Development.
Ms. Burgess is active in a variety of community service organizations and a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She resides in Northern Virginia with her two sons.
With 22 years in the US public sector, state, local governments, and higher education vertical, Mr. Belknap has been a highly successful business leader in driving results in selling enterprise software solutions. He has a proven track record of building, leading, and managing complex sales organizations. Most recently, as a public sector leader at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and formerly Hewlett Packard, Mr. Belknap directed enterprise software solution teams for US public sector, state, local governments, and higher education. Previously at Hewlett Packard he managed the Global System Integrators for Software products.
Prior to joining HP Software in 2005, Mr. Belknap held leadership roles including; Sales Director at Peregrine Systems for US public sector and commercial regions, Sales Director at Oracle for North America, and Sales Director at Wallace Computer Services.
Following his service in the United States Air Force Reserve as a graduate of the United State Air Force Academy Preparatory School, Mr. Belknap received his Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and Public Administration from James Madison University. Mr. Belknap resides with his wife and two children in the Washington DC metro region.
Since 1982, Mr. John Coombs has established a successful track record for performance in sales and marketing leadership and executive positions within the IT industry. His expertise spans hardware, software, and professional services across a broad spectrum of customers ranging from Public Sector Federal & SLED Agencies and Systems Integrators to Commercial Major Accounts, SMB, ISV, OEM, and MSP customers.
Prior to his selection as Chief Operating Officer for Micro Focus Government Solutions, Mr. Coombs held numerous leadership positions within Hewlett-Packard Company (HP) and Hewlett-Packard Enterprise (HPE). These positions include:
Mr. Coombs has a degree in Computer Engineering from Clemson University and continued, executive education includes study at Kellogg Graduate School of Management, MIT Sloan School of Management, and University of Michigan Graduate School of Management. Mr. Coombs and his wife, Donna, split time between Washington, DC and Atlanta, GA, where their son, John Jr., daughter Katelyn Snow, and son-in-law, Adam Snow reside.
With almost 30 years of experience in the HP family of companies, Mr. Coleman has experience covering all aspects of IT industry. Mr. Coleman has demonstrated progressively impressive results in technical, sales, executive leadership, and P&L management in the commercial and government markets.
Prior to his appointment as the Micro Focus Vice President and General Manager of Professional Services, Mr. Coleman was the General Manager of the HPE Public Sector Professional services organization for HPE Software serving the federal, state, and local government agencies as well as the Global System Integrators. During this time Mr. Coleman oversaw the exponential growth in revenue of this business.
Prior to moving to the HPE Software organization, Mr. Coleman has held executive leadership roles as the Sales Director for the HP Federal Consulting and Integration business, Managing Principal for Civilian Agencies, and as the partner responsible for the Eastern Region for HP Services. Prior to HP, Mr. Coleman architected, designed, and implemented purpose-built computers for commercial and government clients.
Mr. Coleman received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Purdue University and his master’s degree in Information Systems from The George Washington University, and has completed the Stanford University/AEA Executive Institute. Mr. Coleman resides with his wife in the Washington, DC metro region.
Morgan Marshall is the Human Resources Business Partner for Micro Focus Government Solutions. She has 10 years of professional experience in both the public and private sectors. Ms. Marshall joined Micro Government Solutions through the acquisition of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Software group in September 2017. She first joined Hewlett Packard in 2014 as part of a leadership development program designed for high-potential Human Resources professionals. She has held previous positions in Talent Acquisition, HR Strategy and Operations, and as a HR Business Partner for the Information Management & Governance business and Chief Technology Office. Ms. Marshall also served as chief of staff to the Vice President of Human Resources.
Ms. Marshall began her career in the nonprofit sector as a reproductive health advocate and policy analyst. She served as the State Policy Coordinator for SIECUS, an education-based nonprofit focused on advancing reproductive rights. She also previously worked for IQ Solutions, a public health communications firm supporting the National Institutes of Health, where she coordinated the national Safe to Sleep campaign for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) awareness.
Ms. Marshall holds a MBA from the George Washington University School of Business and a BA from Yale. She resides in the Washington, DC metro area.
