GWAVA Releases Retain 1.7 With Free GroupWise Stubbing Edition

GWAVA's Latest Version of Retain Supports Stubbing and Offers Free Edition

22 July 2009

GWAVA is pleased to announce a new release of its popular Retain product. As part of this release, GWAVA is offering a free stubbing edition of Retain for any customers wishing to try the stubbing technology. Retain is GWAVA's email archiving and retention software designed for Novell GroupWise.

Retain 1.7, now available, supports the latest stubbing API in GroupWise 8. With GroupWise 8 and Retain 1.7, you can safely move your emails to a third party storage solution, reduce the size of your post office, and still see your stubbed emails in GroupWise.

To help acquaint GroupWise customers with stubbing functionality, GWAVA is offering a free Stubbing Edition of Retain. This free edition lets customers archive GroupWise emails and make them available to their users via the stubbing server. Unlike the full edition, it does not have any e-discovery capabilities.

Retain 1.7 provides total compatibility with GroupWise 8. It also includes a number of new optimization features and improvements on existing functionality. Because of its growing popularity worldwide, Retain 1.7 also includes Dutch language support.
