Description

In this course, students are introduced to the fundamental skills of installing and setting up Micro FocusVibe 3.3 (including the installation and configuration of Vibe Desktop and the Micro FocusVibe Microsoft Office Add-in). Students also learn how to upgrade to Micro FocusVibe 3.3 from a previous 3.x version, how to migrate data into a new Vibe 3.3 system, and how to integrate Vibe 3.3 with GroupWise 2012.

" This five-day course starts with introducing the concepts and usage of the Database and Middleware Automation (DMA) software, continues with detailed use cases of DMA, and finally students learn to modify out-of-the-box (OOTB) flows. DMA is part of Cloud Automation solutions. Working with DMA 10.50 includes using the DMA UI and the DMA runtime engine to locate, run, monitor, author, and deploy automated workflows. A flow is a set of actions linked by decision-making logic to automate tasks. Other topics in the course include using Solution Packs for Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and JBoss. This course also covers creating custom workflows, using the Database and Middleware discovery process, doing compliance checks as well as using the Representational State Transfer (REST) API. The course consists of focused, task-oriented lectures, text, and a series of detailed hands-on labs to teach the course material to the student. The hands-on labs use version 10.50 of the software.

This course is designed for those Network and/or System Administrator tasked with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of the Network Node Manager i (NNMi) product. This course teaches the skills needed to successfully implement the product to manage small, medium, or large networked enterprises. The course includes training on the NNM i Smart Plug-In (NNM iSPI) Performance for Metrics Software, and NNMi Smart Plug-In Engineering Toolset. The hands-on lab exercises in this course use NNMi software version 10.30. The hands-on lab exercises in this course are performed using an on-demand, cloud-based lab environment, so you can perform the lab exercises on your schedule. You have 60 days from date of purchase to start the lab environment for the first time. Once you start the lab environment, you have 25 hours of running time over a 30-day period to complete the hands-on lab exercises. These labs should take you 15-20 hours. You have full control over stopping and starting your lab environment, which is accessible 24 by 7. Additionally, an NNMi product expert will be assigned to answer any questions regarding the self-paced digital content or the hands-on lab exercises. You have up to 2 hours of phone and email support time. Any questions submitted by email will be answered within 24 hours.
