Hardware Requirements Ironstream for Micro Focus can be installed on any Intel (or compatible) based machine supporting a 64-bit architecture. It is recommended that the Ironstream for Micro Focus server component be installed on a “proxy” machine and not on the OMi server. In addition to disk space required for the operating system and Micro Focus Operations agent, the Ironstream software requires the availability of 20MB disk space plus 10MB of disk space for each managed mainframe node.

EView/400i monitors the iSeries (AS/400) environment for important events and critical situations. These event and situation messages are communicated via a TCP/IP connection to the OMi management server.
On the Operations Manager server, EView/400i exploits the facilities of OMi including message templates and applications to process the iSeries messages.
EView/400i 7.0 provides support for Micro Focus Operations Manager i (OMi) 9.0 and above. This version is based on EView400i 6.3 with all software patches. Note these changes from earlier versions of EView/400 required to support and integrate with OMU 9.0:
