Independent Research Firm Recognizes Novell as a Leader in Collaboration Platforms

Novell Teaming receives marks for security, workspace functionality, and team collaboration applications

Novell today announced its team collaboration solution, Novell® Teaming, was recognized as a leader in the August 2009 Forrester Research, Inc. report, The Forrester Wave: Collaboration Platforms, Q3 2009. In evaluating Novell Teaming, the report states, "Teaming brings very strong capabilities for workspaces and collaborative application development, particularly in the area of workflow." Novell Teaming rounds out the company’s strong suite of collaboration solutions and helps customers increase enterprise productivity.

According to the August 2009 Forrester Wave: Collaboration Platforms Q3 2009 report, "Traditional collaboration vendors have recognized and reacted to the unique capabilities of social networking and are actively building these capabilities into their offerings.
