Annual conference to demonstrate how powerful analytics and machine learning can advance an organization

Santa Clara, CA – June 3, 2022Vertica, the core analytical database in the Micro Focus software portfolio, announced the start of the company’s annual user conference, Vertica Unify 2022, with a Boston event on June 7 and following events in Paris and virtually for APJ. The annual Vertica user conference is where attendees will hear from partners and experts, share best practices with colleagues and learn how to operationalize machine learning at scale. Made possible by Vertica’s sponsor partners, the Boston event will enable attendees to derive even greater insight from their growing data volumes, regardless of where that data is located.

“With platinum sponsors like VAST Data and gold sponsors such as Arrow, Climb Channel Solutions and Vcinity, we are giving attendees the opportunity to not only learn from our engineers, solutions architects and customer success experts, but also from our trusted partners,” said Jeff Healey, Vice President of Marketing, Vertica Product Group at Micro Focus. “Our partners are vital to Vertica’s success, and we look forward to working alongside them in Boston on how to ensure our customers derive greater value from Vertica with a unified approach to analytics, supported by our growing partner ecosystem.”

“The strength of our strategic alliance with Vertica continues to build momentum with global enterprise organizations by breaking down the data silos and operational constraints that impede business efficiency and slow time-to-insight,” said John Mao, Global Head of Business Development at VAST Data. “Whether customers prefer an on-prem or hybrid cloud environment, unifying VAST all-flash Universal Storage data platform with Vertica's analytical database provides customers with the performance, scale and resilience needed for the emerging data lakehouse model."

“We’re excited by our strategic partnership with Vertica, which enables data-driven organizations to drive increased control of and value from their data,” said Harry Carr, CEO and Chairman of Vcinity, Inc. “We’re looking forward to joining the conversation across a community of leaders at Vertica’s Unify conference on how to modernize your data access and improve your analytic insights.”

“Vertica sales at Climb have already exceeded last year’s sales. We think the partnership’s keys to success are the resources Vertica provides partners- and the access Climb provides to those resources,” said Tim Popovich, President, Climb Channel Solutions. “We’re very excited by our strategic partnership with Vertica and looking forward to being a part of Vertica’s annual user conference with a real focus on partners.”

Registration is completely free whether attendees join in-person or virtually. Visit the Vertica Unify 2022 site to register for any of these three events:
