GWAVA Provides Text Audit of Encrypted BlackBerry Messages

FREE 90-Day Text Audit and Risk Assessment for any organization worldwide using BlackBerry Enterprise Server.

3 November 2010

GWAVA, a messaging security company, announced today the upcoming availability of a free 90-day Text Audit and Risk Assessment for any organization worldwide using BlackBerry® Enterprise Server.

The offer begins November 3, 2010 and runs until December 31, 2010.

During this time, an organization can enroll in the program and take up to 90 days to audit their BlackBerry text messages.
The 90-day text audit allows organizations to track and report on four specific types of data sent from their users’ BlackBerry devices. These text data types are:

  • BlackBerry SMS text messages
  • BlackBerry PIN messages
  • BlackBerry Messenger messages
  • BlackBerry phone usage stats

“Every organization should have a text usage policy,” states Richard Bliss, Senior Vice President of Marketing Worldwide for GWAVA. "Our 90-day Text Audit and Risk Assessment program gives organizations an easy way to determine if their usage policy is being followed. Or, if they don't have a text usage policy, this text audit program allows them to find out if they need one."

To take advantage of the 90-day Text Audit offer, organizations can enroll at www.textaudit.com and download the 90-day version of GWAVA Retain™ for BlackBerry Enterprise Server. After downloading the software, they will receive a special license key that will give them full use of Retain for BlackBerry for 90 days. Any organization running BlackBerry Enterprise Server is eligible.
