The 8000 series of OpenText™ SIEM Appliances introduces the next generation of the appliance form factor for SIEM Platform products.

With improved performance, reliability and scalability, and support for the original SIEM product attributes, the 8000 appliances represent the vanguard in security management and event analysis solutions.

The 8000 series includes:

The C8200 Appliance, which hosts ArcSight Management Center (ArcMC), a centralized security management center that manages deployments of ArcSight solutions such as Transformation Hub, Logger, SmartConnectors, etc., through a single interface, automating log collection and log management.

The E8400 Appliance, which hosts ESM, a Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) solution that collects and analyzes security data from different devices on your network and provides you a with central, real-time view of the security status of all devices of interest to you.

The R8000 and R8100 Appliances, which host Recon, a modern log management and compliance solution powered by a high-performance, column-oriented, clustered database.

The multi-node series includes:

The S8000, which provides on-premises object storage for the DB8400 - SIEM Database Appliance.

The W8300, which functions as a master and worker node for operation of the containerized SIEM Platform.

The DB8400, which functions as the database compute node and works only with the W8300 in a multi-node cluster.

The EC8300, which works with the E8400 Appliance to host a multi-node ESM environment.
