Preface

This book is for users of Revolve Enterprise Edition. It describes Revolve Enterprise Edition and how you use it to analyze your applications and implement modifications to them.

Audience

This User's Guide is for analysts involved in centralized projects where mass analysis and/or changes will be required across the inventory.

Notation

The following type styles and conventions are used in this book:

A bold typeface is used to distinguish dialog boxes and their components, menus, menu options, and Revolve features such as tool names. For example: Click the View Source Code button.
UPPER CASE text is used for COBOL statements. For example: Look at the MOVE statement.
When <> brackets are used, enter corresponding information for your project as the enclosed text. The brackets should not be included. For example, C:\<revolvedir>\COBOL. The "revolvedir" should be the location of Revolve, like C:\TPS\Revolve\COBOL.
