This book is for users of Revolve. It describes Revolve and how you use it to analyze and implement modifications on system application source code.

Audience

This User's Guide is for programmers who are using Revolve to maintain and analyze their applications.

Notation

The following type styles and conventionsare used in this book:

A Bold typeface is used to distinguish dialog boxes and their components, menus, menu options, and Revolve features such as tool names. For example: Click the View Source Codebutton.
UPPERCASE text is used for COBOL statements. For example: Look at the MOVE statement.
When <> brackets are used, enter corresponding information for your project as the enclosed text. The brackets should not be included. For example, C:\<revolvedir>\COBOL. The "revolvedir" should be the location of Revolve, like C:\TPS\Revolve\COBOL.
