Git Feature

AccuRev Plug-In for Eclipserelease 2018.2 introduces a new GIT feature that allows users to work within an existing AccuRev infrastructure to pull and push changes from/to an AccuRev stream using the Eclipse Git plugin workflow.

AccuRev 7.2 client needs to be installed on the machine prior to using the new Git feature. The AccuRev Git Client is installed by the AccuRev client-only installers for 64-bit Windows, 64-bit Linux, and macOS 10.13+ platforms. Users can also use command line to perform Git operations alongside the Eclipse plugin. Installation of the Git program must be done separately.

Supported Git commands are mentioned in the release notes section. See also the “What’s New in AccuRev Release 7.2” section in the AccuRev 7.2 release notes for more information about the AccuRev Git Client and its capability.
