Configuring E-mail Notifications for Discussions

In order for users to receive email notifications when they are mentioned in a discussion, an administrator must do the following:

  1. Open your server configuration in the Atlas Hub Server Administration tool.
  2. Check Enable e-mail support.
  3. Type your SMTP server information and the TCP/IP endpoint in the appropriate fields.
  4. Check Enable e-mail notification.
  5. Restart your server.
  6. In Atlas/Rhythm, add email addresses to user profiles.
    Note: Email notification will not work unless users have added their email address to their profiles in Atlas/Rhythm.

    Each user must log into their account before the changes take effect.
