In some situations, you may want to move data from one third-party tool into another third-party tool. Micro Focus Connect makes moving information easy.
In releases prior to 3.1.x, you needed to configure id fields in Micro Focus products to store a reference to an external item. With Micro Focus Connect 3.1.x and higher, you no longer need to setup an additional field. You may also continue to map the ID to a field of your choosing, if you wish to see the Third-Party IDs in your Micro Focus.
