The Client for Open Enterprise Server software extends the capabilities of Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, and Windows 7 workstation, Windows 2012 server, Windows 2016 server, Windows 2019 server, and Windows 2022 server desktops by providing access to NetWare® and Open Enterprise Server (OES). When installed on Windows 11, Windows 10, Windows 8, or Windows 7 workstations, Windows 2012 servers, Windows 2016 servers, Windows 2019 servers, or Windows 2022 servers, the Client lets you enjoy the full range of OES services, such as authentication via eDirectory™, network browsing and service resolution, and secure and reliable file system access. The Client for Open Enterprise Server supports the Novell traditional NCP™ protocol.
