Geo Locations
Using Google Maps, Content Manager can store global positioning system (GPS) coordinates against a location. To use this feature, the "Geo Locations" in System Options - Features page must be enabled.
The GPS coordinates can be applied to a physical location in Content Manager on the Location General tab.
Click the KwikSelect button. The GPS Location Browser window displays.
- Start your search here: - enter a location name
- Delete Markers - removes any markers placed on the screen
- As Polygon - select to a specify a complex shape on the map to indicate a region
- As Line - select to specify a line as a region
- Traffic - displays traffic information on the map
- Reset - removes recent changes
- Click OK to save GPS coordinates in WKT format.
To search for records by GPS Location, on the Search ribbon, select Locations - Find Locations. The Search for Locations dialogue displays.
- On the Search tab, select GPS Location.
- You can find a location within a specific distance of a GPS POINT, LINESTRING or POLYGON or within a user specified distance from a record or location that has a GPS location.
To access the map, click the KwikSelect button. The GPS Location Browser window displays.

Content Manager only supports the following Well-known text (WKT) formats, a text markup language for representing vector geometry objects:
- POINT (lng lat) lng and lat are decimal numbers such as 145.533829.
- LINESTRING (lng lat, lng lat) a 2 point line or
- LINESTRING (lng lat, lng lat, lng lat) a 3 point line.

POLYGON ((lng lat, lng lat, lng lat, …)) for any number of points >= 3
