Meeting Types
Meeting Types are the basic building blocks of the Content Manager Meeting Management function.
You use Meeting Types to schedule meetings - therefore, the Meeting Manager administrator must define at least one Meeting Type in Content Manager.
To see the Meeting Types you have access to, on the Manage ribbon, point to Meetings and then click Meeting Types.
Meeting Types set some important parameters for the meetings they are used for, for example
- Time and duration
- Frequency
- Venue
- Usual participants
Similar to a template, Content Manager uses the Meeting Type parameters for every meeting that a user schedules using that particular Meeting Type.
- Right-click the Meeting Type and click Properties.
The Meeting Type - <Name> dialogue box appears.
See Creating and modifying Meeting Types for details.
This is the pane in the main Content Manager window under the toolbars.
Use the fields:

- Search By - use KwikSelect to select a search method, for example name, to find Meeting Types with a specific name
- Matching criteria - enter the data to find, for example, by typing the Meeting Type name
- Run the search button - click to start the search
See Search pane.
- Run a search for Meeting Types using one of the methods described above
- Right-click in the list, even if there are no results, and on the Search menu, click Refine Search.
The Search for Meeting Types dialogue box appears. - Use the Search By box to select your search criteria
- Optional - use the Filter, Sort, Results and Options tabs to refine your search further
- Click OK.
Content Manager returns the Meeting Types that match your criteria.
