Modifying Location Profile Data

Locations are created with Profile information such as User Type, Login details etc. The Modify Profile Data option allows organizations to update Profile Data of a single or multiple Locations from a single dialogue.

  1. From the Search menu, select Find Locations.

    The Search for Locations dialogue appears.

  2. Select the required Location search method and type in the search criteria, and then click OK. A list of all Locations matching the search criteria appears.
  3. Tag the Locations whose profile data you want to change, right-click and click Change Profile Data.

    The Change the profile data dialogue appears. Select All Tagged Rows to apply the change to all selected Locations and then click OK.

  4. Select the profile data options to be modified and select, or type, the new value for each field.
  5. Click OK to apply the new values to the selected Locations.

  • Change 'User Type' - select this option to change the user type permission that the selected user(s) required. From the drop-down list , select the required User Type. See
  • Change 'Accept Logins' - select to update the selected Location(s) login ability. Select from Allow logins or Disallow logins.
  • Change 'Login Domain' - select to update the domain that the user logs into Content Manager using. Type in the new Domain name.
  • Change 'Login Expiry Date' - select this option to update or apply a Login expiry date to the selected Location(s). Use the Calendar button to select the required date.
  • Change 'Use Profile Of' - select this option to apply an existing Location's details to the selected Location(s).
