System Options Actions page

These system options enable you to set the default working day hours, configure calendar options and determine what will occur when a user completes an Action or Workflow.

  • Automatic rescheduling of due dates for subsequent Actions:
    • Reschedule if an Action is completed Early
    • Reschedule if an Action is completed Late.

      When these options are selected, Content Manager will reschedule Actions automatically with no opportunity for the user to change this behaviour.

      When these options are not selected, Content Manager will not automatically reschedule Actions.

      The only exception to this behaviour is where the current user has Actions Administration or Workflow Administration permission.

      A user with this access will, when completing an Action, have the opportunity to use Content Manager to either reschedule subsequent Actions or not.

  • Allow Relaxed Date Checking for Procedures - enables Procedures to be added before the due date of another Procedure.

    You can add subsequent Procedures with a date as early as the start date of the first Procedure.

    NOTE: Any computer that has Content Manager user ability to edit Workflow Procedures and Actions should have its system clock set to either 24hr time format or 12hr time format, with am and pm indicators. You can do this in Control Panel - Regional Settings - Time. This ensures correct behaviour when Content Manager reschedules Actions or Procedures.

  • Prevent records with uncompleted actions being sent to Recycle bin - select this option to prevent the records from being sent to recycle bin when the actions are still not complete. The Send To > Recycle Bin option will be disabled for such individual records.
