Record creation statistics reports
Record creation statistics reports enable you to collect data about the number of created records during a period of time.
NOTE: Only users who have their security level set to <Highest> and have the their Miscellaneous permissions set for Bypass View Metadata Access Controls and Bypass Access Exclusions will be able to see this ribbon option. See Miscellaneous permissions by user type.
- On the Home ribbon, point to Statistical and then click Record Creation Statistics.
The Record Creation Statistics dialogue box appears. - Fill in the fields:
- Date Type - the date to use to select the records for the report. Select from:
- Date Registered
- Date Created
- Start Date
- End Date
- Primary Grouping - optional - data to group the report by. Select from:
- None
- Record Type
- Classification
- Retention Schedule
- Jurisdiction
- Location Grouping - optional - data to group by, either in addition to the primary grouping or as only grouping.
Select from:- None
- Creator
- Owner
- Home
- Assignee
- Statistically Significant - select to only aggregate the report for Locations that have the option Use For Statistical Aggregations in their properties tab Governance selected
- Record Search String - click KwikSelect to create a search using the search string editor to choose certain records within the period selected above. See Using the string-based search editor.
- Output results to - select a folder and file format to save the output file to. For the file extension, use .htm to view the report in a browser or .csv to export it to a spreadsheet application.
- Launch associated application when complete - starts browser or spreadsheet application and opens the file when the report is ready
- Date Type - the date to use to select the records for the report. Select from:
- Click OK.
Content Manager collects the data and creates the file.
