Address page

In the Address page, type in the street and mailing address details of the Location.

  • Same As - select to search for an existing Location to copy both the street and mailing address details from.
  • Address Type - select either Street or Mailing.

Type in the address details or click Copy Other to retrieve existing address details from the other address type.

  • Street/Box - street address or the Post Office Box number
  • City - city/suburb details
  • State/Province - state or province details
  • Postal Code - postcode.

    See Postal codes.

  • Country - country or region details

NOTE: The drop-down list of countries in Content Manager complies with the country names of ISO 3166. In localisations of Content Manager, the list of countries is translated into the local language. Non-English users can choose to display the ISO compliant English country names in addition to the localised country names in the view pane:

    • Address (ISO)
    • Mailing address (ISO)
    • Street address (ISO)
These fields correspond to the equivalent view pane address fields without the suffix ISO. They will always display the country name in English, regardless of which language Content Manager is configured to use. This gives users the advantage of being able to choose the country in their local language, but to display or print it using the ISO compliant name.

    • Region - optional. Some countries have different address details while other countries have address details that require a city or region name.
    • QAS Pro button - only available if QAS Pro is installed.

The QuickAddress function integrates the QAS Pro application supplied by Experian Data Quality.

QAS Pro is an address verification software.

As soon as Content Manager detects an installation of QAS Pro, it will automatically add the QuickAddress button to the Locations Address page.

The QAS Pro integration enables users to quickly and easily create new Location addresses or validate existing addresses from the QAS Prodatabase.

When a user accepts a QAS Pro address, Content Manager will insert it automatically into the Content Manager Location.

If a Content Manager Location already contains an address, then click the QuickAddress button for the QuickAddress dialogue and check whether the address exists in its database.

If it does, you can accept it. If it does not, you can browse or search for the correct address.

When reviewing addresses, QAS Pro will select the appropriate country where the address is based, provided it understands the country name.

For example, if the user's country is France, then the French QAS Pro database will be loaded.

If the country cannot be identified, QAS Pro uses the first QAS Pro country database that was installed.

For further information, search for QAS Pro using a web search engine.

NOTE: Countries for Locations will not appear in the Street or Mailing address fields in the Address page.

    • Keep a history of address changes for this Location - will add a historical list of address changes.

Any changes to the street or mailing addresses will remain in the historical list.

Will automatically insert the previous address to the history list as soon as a new address is saved.

There is no limit on how many addresses can be stored.

When you clear this option and there is a history of address changes, Content Manager displays a message to confirm that you intend to delete the Location's address history.

      • History - displays the list of address changes.

The details in the view pane for the selected address are the same as those when creating or modifying addresses, except for the Address Type field, which indicates whether it is a mailing or a street address.

To delete historical addresses, select or tag them, and on the right-click context menu, click Delete.

      • Date of change of address - you can set a future date for a change of address so it remains hidden until the current date exceeds the date set.
