Building a Thesaurus

  1. Create terms (words or word groups) to the Thesaurus.

    See Creating Thesaurus terms.

  2. Establish the relationships between the terms.

    See Term relationships.

    You have to follow the rules explained in Thesaurus construction rules.

  3. Set Access Controls for the Thesaurus terms.

    The Access Controls function enables you to set controls on who can use and/or modify the selected Thesaurus term.

    You can also access this function from the right-click Security and Audit - Security/Access command or the right-click Properties - Access Controls tab.
