Document comparison

This function enables for any two documents - both revisions of existing documents, and unique records - to be compared with each other side by side and have differences between the documents clearly identified.

  • provides the ability to compare two documents using a third party comparison tool
  • enables a system administrator to define which external executable is to be called and what command line parameters are to be passed to it
  • enables you to compare two documents that are revisions of the same record (current revision and any previous revisions)
  • enables you to compare two documents that are separate records
  • enables you to compare documents regardless of their edit status
  • enables you to compare documents within Content Manager and any document available on your network
