Creating a Classification plan
By adding a new level or modifying existing levels, you are working with the attributes of the Classification in the Classifications dialogue box.
Setting up a new Classification plan numbering scheme
When creating new Classification Plan levels, you should be clear on how Classification level numbering works in its two formats:
- Top Levels - see Creating the Classification top level items and numbering schemes
- Subordinate Levels - see Lower level Classification numbering
All levels within a Classification plan must have a security level. It will default to [No Security Level]. Records created with [No Security Level] will inherit their settings from their Record Type.
