Creating related terms
- From the Manage ribbon, select Thesaurus Terms
- Select a term from the existing list of terms, for example, Dogs
- Right-click and select Related Thesaurus Terms
The Relating Terms To dialogue box appears.
All available terms that can be related to the chosen term in some way are listed.

- Assume that the term Dingo is to be a related term of Dogs.
To relate the two terms in this way, select the term that is to be related to the chosen term, for example, Dingo.
- Click the relational button Related.
The selected term will appear in the Related Terms section of the dialogue box with an icon indicating its type of relationship.
You can delete a term relationship by selecting it in this list and clicking Delete.
