Replace References

This function allows you to replace retention schedules that are in use with schedules that have come from the Policy Centre Solution.

1. On the Manage ribbon, click Schedules.

   This will display the Schedules - All dialogue box, listing all the schedules in the dataset.

2. Right-click the schedule you want to replace and select Replace References. The Replaces references to the selected item dialogue box appears.
   • Select the replacement schedule - Use Kwikselect to search for a schedule to replace the currently highlighted schedule.
   • Apply replacement schedule to already archived records - selecting this option applies the new schedule to already archived records.
   • Make the replaced schedule inactive - selecting this option makes the retention schedule inactive.
3. Click OK to replace the old retention schedule with the new one.
