Finding Thesaurus terms
You can search for Content Manager Thesaurus terms using practically any of the information about them that is saved in Content Manager.
This is the pane in the main Content Manager window under the toolbars.
Use the fields:
- Search For - select Thesaurus Terms
- Search By - use KwikSelect to select a search method, or type all in the drop-down box
- Matching criteria - enter the data to find
- Run the search button - click to start the search

- On the Manage ribbon, click Thesaurus Terms
- Right-click the list and on the Search menu, click Refine Search.
The Search for Thesaurus Terms dialogue box appears. - Use the Boolean search editor, or switch to the multi-field editor to use the options:
- Search by Thesaurus Term starting with - to find terms whose names begins with certain characters
- Search for Thesaurus Terms containing the word - to find terms containing certain characters anywhere in their name
- On the multi-field Filter tab, choose a filter option, if you need it:
- Show Only Top Thesaurus Terms - select to only find top terms
- Show Forbidden Thesaurus Terms - select to also find terms that cannot be applied to records
- Click OK.
Content Manager returns the Thesaurus terms that match your criteria.
