Creating document stores
The Content Manager administrator is responsible for creating new document stores in Content Manager. The administrator should monitor the stores and before they fill up completely, create more document stores as necessary.
When using store pooling, use the Content Manager Enterprise studio dataset properties Document Store tab field Document Store Pool Cascading Set Size to specify how many stores should make up the pool. In turn, the administrator ensures that there are enough stores in Content Manager when all the stores in the pool are full and Content Manager automatically rolls over to the new store pool, made up of the same number of stores. The more complete pools there are, the longer Content Manager can run without the stores needing any attention. To start with, it is recommended to have two complete pools of x number of stores to enable Content Manager to roll over and then to evaluate whether the setup meets the organisation's needs.
NOTE: For Manage in Place Windows Folder
If the client is running the same account as the Workgroup Server or if the account is listed as a trusted server account in the Content Manager Enterprise Studio, then creation of the Manage in Place record will succeed. Otherwise, it will fail with an error.
For example, Content Manager Workgroup Server on 'TESTWGS1' reported an error. The account 'TEST99\admin' is not a trusted server account and cannot create Manage In Place records.
