Inactive Records
This feature allows organisations to identify inactive records and make them inactive, thereby reducing the cost of storage.
- NOTE:
- For this function to be available for physical records, "Physical Inactive Record Manager" must be enabled in System Options - Features page.
- For this function to be available for electronic records, "Electronic Inactive Record Manager" must be enabled in System Options - Features page.

Once the feature is enabled, it can be applied to the appropriate Records Type. See Record Type Inactive Records page.
Log output to - nominate log file location. The log file records any errors.
Save this log file in Content Manager - select to save the log file into the database.
Select a record type - select the record type the log file will be saved to. The log file will be called "IRM Process log".
