Search editors
Content Manager enables you to use different search dialogue boxes, also called search editors. They appear when you click for example Search - Find Records, or Search - Find Locations, for example.

While you can select a default search editor that appears as your Search for ... dialogue, you can switch between the different editors for that search in that dialogue by using the Editor button at the bottom:

Selecting the default search editor
- Click File - Options
- On the Search tab, select from the options under Editor to use when searching
- For Records
- String-based Editor
- Multi-field Editor
- Boolean Editor
- For other Content Manager items
- String-based Editor
- Multi-field Editor
- Boolean Editor
- For Records
- Click OK.
