Exporting
NOTE: Unless otherwise specified, the descriptions and processes described in this Help file relevant for the Tab Delimiter Data Formatter.
To export Content Manager objects:

Start Content Manager DataPort from the Content Manager client Administration - Import/Export menu. Alternatively, from the Content Manager install path, open the DataPort application.
The DataPort dialog box appears.
- Type the name of the project in the Project Name field.
- If required, type a project description into the Description field.
- Select the Authentication Method to use. From the drop-down list, select from:
- Active Directory Federated Services
- Explicit Windows Authentication
- Google Apps
- Integrated Windows Authentication
CAUTION: If anything other than Integrated Windows Authentication is used then DataPort will not run in an unattended fashion, a user name and password will be required.
- Use the KwikSelect to select the Content Manager Database to connect to.
- Select Export as the Data Direction.
- From the drop-down list, select the Content Manager Object Type to be exported.

- Once the Export project has been configured, it must be saved. To save an export project, click Save. Type the File Name of the Export DataPort Project file and click Save.
- Once the project is saved, to export the objects, click Execute.
The Content Manager DataPort Engine Process Information
window will be displayed, indicating the number of:
- the number of items found
- items processed
- errors
- warnings
- items exported
