Content Manager Administration Client

This application has been designed to allow system administrators to tighten the access of Content Manager utilities that should, mostly, be run on server machines and as require a level of system administration, as well as Content Manager, knowledge. It will be particularly useful for service provides who provision Content Manager as a service.

This application, TRIMAdmin.exe, installed as a part of the CM_Server_x64.msi, by default to, at C:\Program Files\Micro Focus\Content Manager and is accessible from the Content Manager directory from the Windows Start menu, or by using the shortcut that is installed to the desktop.

When this option is not enabled, the following System Options will be removed or modified in the Content Manager client. To access the System Options in the Content Manager Administration client, go to the Home ribbon, and in the Options group, click System.

  • Features - these options are used to enable, or disable, features that will be available to your users. When using the Content Manager Administration client, the Features options are available in the following applications:

  • Security - when using the Content Manager Administration client, the Security options are available in the following applications:
