Mobile App interface
On your mobile, when you double-click and open the Content Manager Mobile App, a splash screen with Content Manager logo is displayed and then the login page is displayed. Enter the Connection Address URL and click Connect. Click Update in the confirmation pop-up.
If you are logging in for the first time or previous session has timed out, you must enter your credentials in the Microsoft login page. Once you login, the Mobile App Home page is displayed.
The default menus, i.e, Home, Favourites, and Menu, are available on most of the pages in the Mobile App for easy navigation.
Home page
The Home page includes the search box on the top, configured menu items, such as, Add new Record, Recent Documents, Recent Containers, and so on at the center of the page, and default set of menu at the bottom, which includes Home, Favourites, and Menu.
The Add new Record, Recent Documents and Recent Containers menu items are always available in the Home page. They are not configurable. The other menu items in the Home page are configurable as per your requirement. See Configuring dataset connection and home page menu items.
Mobile App Menu
Click the Content Manager Mobile App Menu to get the following menu items:

About - includes information about the version of the Mobile App you are using, help on Mobile App, the Privacy policy, and link to OpenText website.

Add new Record - create new record. See Creating records.
NOTE: The Add new Record menu item is not available for the Inquiry user.

Activities due - displays all the due Workflow Activities in which you as the current user are the Assignee

Categories/Classifications - lists all categories/classifications and their sub levels. Click on a particular category/classification, will display its sub category(s)/classification(s) or the records.

Checked Out Documents - lists the checked out documents for editing

Client and Matters - lists the client and matters

Downloaded Documents - lists the downloaded documents for offline viewing

Holds - lists all the holds
-
Jurisdictions - lists all the jurisdictions

Recent Containers - lists the containers. Click a container to view all the records in the container.

Recent Documents - lists the documents you have viewed recently
-
Records Due - lists all the records that are due

Records In - lists all the records in the Content Manager

Records In or Due - lists the records that are either in or due

Saved Searches - lists all the saved searches associated with records only

Schedules - lists all schedules

Thesaurus terms - lists the thesaurus terms

To Do Items - lists the to do items

User Labels -list the user labels

Options - allows you to configure dataset connection and configure menu items that appear at the center of the home page.

Profile - view information about the user logged in to the Mobile App
IMPORTANT: The options displayed in the Mobile App menu depends on the permissions given to the user profile.
The above menu items are not configurable. These menu items are the standard menu items always accessible from the Menu option.
Context menu
The options displayed in the context menu depends on the object of Content Manager you are accessing. For example, the context menu displayed for a record is different from the context menu displayed for a category, to do item, or user label.
The following lists some of the context menu options:

View - select this option to view the attachment. See Viewing a record attachment.

Properties - select this option to view record properties. See Viewing record properties.

Check out - select this option to edit the electronic document. See Editing an electronic document locally.

Check out to OneDrive - select this option to edit the electronic document in OneDrive. See Editing an electronic document in OneDrive.

Download for offline viewing - select this option to download records for offline viewing. See Viewing the records offline.

Share - select this option to share details of a record in an email, such as, link to access the record, record number, title, and document if one is attached with the record. See Sharing a record.

Add to Favourites or Remove from Favourites - select this option to add this record to favourites or remove from favourites. See Adding to Favourites and Removing from Favourites.

Edit Properties - select this option to edit record properties. See Editing record properties.
A record is associated with many record properties. Based on your requirement, you can add or remove the properties to be visible or not on the record properties page.

Add properties - select this option to add properties of the record to be visible or available on the record properties page. See Adding record properties.

Edit document - select this option to edit an electronic document of a record. See Editing a document of a checked out record.

Remove Properties - select this option to remove properties from the record properties page. See Removing record properties.

Add an attachment - select this option to add an attachment to the record. See Adding an Attachment to a record.

Show records - select this option to display all the records under that non record object. This option is available for non record objects only, such as, category, client and matter, user labels, to do items and so on.
Record list
The list of records displayed when you navigate to menu item, for example Favourites, Recent Documents, and so on, or the list you get when you search for the record(s) using Search option (See Searching in Mobile App) is referred as record list in this help file.
The More option of the record displays the context menu. See Context menu.
You can sort the record list by Name, Record Number, or Registered in an ascending or descending order. See Sorting the record list for details.
User profile
To access user profile, click Menu, scroll to the bottom and then select Profile option. The page includes details, such as, user name, email ID, role, information, and an option to log out from the Mobile App.
The profile details are fetched from Content Manager client.
Click Information to view more details about the user, like first name, last name, email, contact number, date of birth, and role.

Mobile App in offline mode
In offline mode, the only option available in Mobile App is the Home page. The search bar, Favourites, and the Menu will be disabled. Also, Checked Out Documents and Downloaded Documents are the only menu options available in the Home page.
