Databridge Client Messages

This section lists errors and messages that may occur when running the Databridge Client. Messages generally appear onscreen and in the log file. If tracing is enabled, messages are also captured in the trace file. (The verbose tracing option TR_VERBOSE generates a large number of low-level messages, which only appear in the trace file.)

Searching for messages

Messages are listed in alphabetic order. To search for a message that starts with the name of an element of your system (such as a file or host name), use other words in the message as search criteria.

Actual messages contain names instead of variables; therefore, your message may not appear in the order you expect. Additionally, messages that appear in more than one section of this guide will be found under section_name. Messages that are common to most commands are listed in a separate section labeled Common Log Messages.


Information written to the log file at the start of a Client run is very useful for troubleshooting. Therefore, any time you contact Micro Focus Customer Support, always include the actual, complete log file (versus a screen capture) for a Client run. Screen captures do not contain all of the information required to troubleshoot problems.
