Specifying Servers, Nodes and Ports

By default, when you run MFDAS from the command line it uses the server, node, and port most recently specified . However, you can specify different settings to be used by the MFDAS command line by setting the MFA_SERVER_PARMS environment variable before running mfdas.exe. The format of this environment variable is as follows:

 MFA_SERVER_PARMS=MFSRV:name,MFNODE:node,MFPORT:portnum

where:

name
This is the name of the server to use. The example below specifies a server called MVSSRV.
node
This is the URL or IP address to use. The example below specifies a URL of MVS.SERVER.COM.
portnum
This is the port number to use. The example below specifies port number 6000.

Example:

 MFA_SERVER_PARMS=MFSRV:MVSSRV,MFNODE:MVS.SERVER.COM,MFPORT:6000
