Create and Build a JCL Application

These are the steps required to create a project comprising all the parts of your application, such as the COBOL source and the JCL batch files. You will build the demonstration application in the IDE, deploy and run it on the enterprise server configured to run JCL applications, then debug the application.

  1. Create a Project
  2. Import the Files from the Demonstration Program
  3. Specify the Project Properties
  4. Build the Application
  5. Associate your Project with the JCL Enterprise Server
  6. Start your Enterprise Server
  7. Deploy to Enterprise Server
