CSPG hmsgterm

Erases a logical message, leaving the previous message displayed.

Syntax:

CPSG hmsgterm{A|B|C|H|R}[,hhhhhh]

Parameters:

msgterm The transaction identifier of your message terminating transaction.
A Terminates all logical messages directed to or currently being displayed on the terminal
B Terminates the logical message currently being displayed on the terminal, and any logical messages chained to it.
C Terminates the current logical message and any messages chained to it.
H Terminates all logical messages chained to the message being displayed on the terminal. The page of the base message that was most recently displayed is redisplayed at the terminal.
R Terminates all logical messages routed to the terminal. The page that was being displayed at the terminal is redisplayed.
hhhhhh The 6-digit hexadecimal identifier of a specific, undelivered logical message to be erased. You can find out the message identifier using a page query command.

When termination is complete, you receive the message:

DFHTP4122 REQUESTED PURGE COMPLETE
