To catalog an ODBC data provider

  1. On a machine where the ADO.NET Connection Editor is installed and that has an ODBC connection already cataloged, start the ADO.NET Connection Editor as an administrator.
  2. Export the ODBC connection.
  3. On the machine where you want to add the ODBC connection, start the ADO.NET Connection Editor as an administrator.
  4. Import the exported ODBC connection information.
