To remove a connection

  1. Start the ADO.NET Connection Editor.
  2. If required to display the appropriate data source on the Data Source Names list, set the options on the Settings menu to match the settings for the data source you want to remove. For a description of each option, see Settings menu.
  3. On the Data Source Name list, select the connection you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. Click OK.
  6. Close the ADO.NET Connection Editor.
Important: If you have the All framework/availability combinations setting checked when you remove a selected connection, all saved combinations are removed for the selected connection.
