System Requirements

Before you begin to configure your environment for XDB Link, review the following table and verify that you have the required hardware and software. Also check that your software is at the required levels.

Note:

Minimum requirements (for native TCP/IP access) are DB2 V5.1 AND OS/390 V1R3. Review the PSP for HDB5510 and apply any PTF's applying to DDF and TCP/IP access. Complete the steps outlined in the DB2 for OS/390 Installation Guide (GC26-8970-00) chapter 3-3.
