JDBC

The Micro Focus Direct Flight JDBC driver provides JDBC support for XDB Server. See the chapter SQL Option for DB2 for more information on XDB Server.

You can use the Direct Flight driver to:

Establish a connection to an XDB Server
Send SQL statements to an XDB Server
Process results from an XDB Server

Note:

Before you can connect to an XDB Server you must load the Direct Flight driver. See the topic Loading the Direct Flight Driver for more information.

To use the Direct Flight driver you must have:

Java 2 Version 1.2 or higher installed
Access to an XDB Server
