To Create a Shared Catalog Definition Using seeout

The seeout utility can be used to create a shared catalog definition in the cross-region database. To do this you must specify the name of the definition and the locations of the catalog file and data allocation folder. For example:
seeout -usedb:mydbinst -sharedcatalog:xyz -catalog:c:\SharedCatalog\catalog.dat -dataloc:c:\SharedCatalog\DATA
will create a shared catalog definition named xyz in the cross-region database on the mydbinst database server instance. The catalog file c:\SharedCatalog\catalog.dat and data allocation folder c:\SharedCatalog\DATA are associated with the definition.
