The Micro Focus Code Analysis Window

When you run code analysis or CSI queries on your code, the IDE automatically opens the Micro Focus Code Analysis window to display the results. (If you cannot see the window, you can open it manually by clicking View > Micro Focus Code Analysis.)

The following list shows some of the different operations that you can perform from Micro Focus Code Analysis window:

Run a previous query
Use the list box in the window to view the history of the previous reports. You can select a report from the list box to run it again.

Hide copybooks from the report
Click Hide Results for Copybooks (Hide Results for Copybooks).
Show the details for all files listed in a report

Toggle between the two different ways of arranging the results - click Group By Program (Group By Program) to group the results by program or click Group By Rule (Group By Rule) to group them by rule.
Note: Line numbers shown in the Micro Focus Code Analysis window are calculated taking copy statements into account - the window shows line numbers after all copybooks have been expanded in a program.
