Testing a mainframe connection

If the Mainframe Explorer window is not displayed, click View > Mainframe Explorer.

This process tests the performance of the connection once it has been established, not initial connectivity.

In the Mainframe Explorer window, log on to the mainframe.
Right-click the connection name, then click Test Connection. The test details are displayed in the Output window.
Click OK when complete.
