mfims imsdbu directives

The mfims imsdbu command invokes the IMSDBU utility, and can take several command-line directives that specify details of database management tasks for the various IMSDBU functions. The following is an alphabetical list of all mfims imsdbu directives.

ABEND
Determines behavior in the event of a date discrepancy found in the recovery log files.
CLS
Clears the screen before starting the utility.
COMPRESS
Specifies whether compression was used when the input or output data file was created.
DATA
Specifies the starting position of the segment data in the data record.
DSN
Specifies the dataset name of the input file containing the segment data.
ECHO
Controls the display of and interaction with the messages displayed by IMSDBU.
INI
Specifies the default directives file.
LAYOUT
Specifies the type of the input or output file.
LIST
Controls the location and name of the detail listing file, which includes items such as source listings, completion status, error messages and execution statistics.
LISTOPEN
Controls the open disposition of the detail listing file.
LOG
Specifies the IMSDBU activity log.
LRECL
Specifies the length for fixed length generic layout input or output files.
MAKELISTDSN
Specifies the dataset name of the output file for the IMSDBU commands.
PROGRESS
Controls the frequency of progress reporting.
RECFM
Specifies the format of the input or output records.
REPLACE
Specifies how duplicate root segments are to be processed.
SEGEXIT
Specifies the name of a user-supplied exit program that can be used to control selection and modification of segment data during the add, load, or unload process.
SEGM
Specifies the starting position of the 8-byte segment name in the data record.
SERVER
Specifies the name of an enterprise server.
TLOG
Specifies the Backward Recovery TLOG file.
TLOGPATH
Specifies the location of the recovery log files.
