To edit DBD, MFS and PSB files

To edit .dbd, .mfs, or .psb files in the basic editor in the IDE:

1. Right-click a file of these types in Solution Explorer, and click Open.

   The IDE editor provides a basic level of colorization for items such as reserved words and comments. It does not support background parsing or syntax checking.

Besides using the editor in the IDE, you can edit database date for .dbd and .psb files in the Micro Focus Data File Tools utility as follows:

1. Right-click a file of these types in Solution Explorer, and click Edit Database.

   This starts the Data File Tools utility that enables you to edit the file.
