Release storage previously acquired by a CIC-GETMAIN.
Restriction: This topic applies only when the AppMaster Builder AddPack has been installed, and applies only to Windows platforms.

CIC-FREEMAIN DATA(linkdataname)

Parameter:

linkdataname

01-level Linkage Section data area identical to the linkdataname in the associated TP-LINKAGE call.

Example:

Release the main storage of LK-STORAGE-AREA. 
CIC-FREEMAIN DATA(LK-STORAGE-AREA)
