wasreset: reset IIS and WAS

wasreset parameter

Re-cycles IIS and WAS.

(No parameter)
This is the default. Using this command with no parameters:
  • Shuts down IIS
  • Kills WAS worker processes
  • Delete any binary copies from the IIS cache
  • Restarts IIS
Same as the default action, but also stops and restarts the WAS netpipeactivator and nettcpactivator services
Note: Use this parameter with caution. It can be useful if the IIS or WAS services are behaving inconsistently. You can use this parameter to ensure all services are stopped, then re-started.
